Skate Baking, Molding & Punch Out

New skates should feel like they were made for your foot — and with proper baking and molding, they basically are.

When you buy a new pair of skates, the stiff boot can take weeks of uncomfortable ice time to break in on their own. Baking speeds that process up dramatically. We heat your skates to the right temperature, we use the Bauer Game Fit Wrap for a perfect balanced fit, and the boot molds itself to the exact shape of your foot while it cools. The result is a custom fit right out of the gate — more comfort, better power transfer, and less time grinding through a painful break-in period.

Punch out takes it a step further. Got a pressure point that just won't go away even after baking? A bunion, a wide forefoot, or a bony ankle that digs into the boot? We can punch out specific areas of the inner skate to relieve that pressure and give your foot the room it needs — without compromising the structure of the skate.

Between baking, molding, and punch out, there's almost no fit issue we can't fix. Bring your skates in and let's make them work for your foot, not against it.

The only part of the boot we can't adjust is the toe cap — everything else is fair game.
